In RE, we expect students to become experts at justifying their own point of view on ethical, religious and other issues, supporting their arguments with evidence and examples. We expect them to explore others' lives and motives and thus enable them to make better sense of the world around them.
Students learn to apply their own views to issues within their lives and examples outside their own experience. They will infer connections between concepts and apply their understanding of world religions to different issues. They will become confident at discussing and debating issues with others, skills that are highly desirable in college, university or in the work place.
